Mother Nature put in the WORK for Catherine & Ryan on their elopement day hahha. Park city in the late fall/ winter can be tough & unpredictable but these two literally didn’t care one bit & rolled with the punches because all that mattered to them was that they were getting married! They were initially planning on having their ceremony at Church of Dirt but had to opt for their reception location for the ceremony due to the heavy rainfall! Their wedding planner, Brooke, was a superstar and was able to put together a super last minute setup outside of their vacation home, (the reception location) & it was nothing short of perfect! If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is capable of just about anything when it comes to planning your perfect day, reach out to Brooke!
Catherine had their little boy, Grayson, walk her down the aisle & I think it had everybody there in tears. It was so precious! The rain continued to fall throughout their ceremony & for the remainder of the day but it couldn’t have been more beautiful! It made Park City’s colors look even more insane! If you haven’t been to Park City in the fall, slap that on your bucket list. I couldn’t stop drooling over the fall colors that covered this city like a blanket! In case you go, here’s a blog listing some good eats in the area, via a local.
Catherine & Ryan’s vacation home sits up on a hill so we had the view of the city behind them up at the altar. After the ceremony, we drove up the road to take some portraits of just the two of them & of course, some sweet family shots with Grayson in the mix. The rest of the day went by so quick because of how much fun it was! Originally, their elopement was supposed to have only a few guests but a few months before, Ryan decided to invite all of their family and friends as a surprise for Catherine. Which remained a surprise until a few weeks before when Catherine started to notice that Ryan was hiding something, so he caved and told her everything hahaha.
They danced their hearts out to the most epic live music played by Denver Piano Shows who came down for their wedding all the way from Colorado. I’ve said it once & I’ll say it over and over, a talented & experienced DJ or live band can make or break your wedding day! They hold so much power when it comes to directing your reception and getting even the most timid crowd going!
